How would I describe this book in three words?
1) Magical
2) Mesmerising
3) Outstanding
I actually tweeted the author at about 3 AM... Her name is Jana Oliver - @crazyauthorgirl - I just said: "Your book #BriarRose is outstanding. Best book I have ever read! #thankyou :') it's just perfect"
She kindly replied saying: "@Jazzy_ATL Thank you so much! It was fun to write. I got to do all sorts of crazy things to Briar & her friends."
It's safe to say, I'm the happiest I've probably ever been.
Back to the book though...
It's amazing. It's basically a modern take on Sleeping Beauty. By the end of it, I was convinced I was a princess.
People often ask me: What's your favourite book?
I can't ever answer. There's a small piece of me in every book I read.
But this... This is 100% my favourite book. Ever.
It's magical but at the same time, you actually believe it could happen.
I'm so glad I picked it up in the book shop.
I'm kind of unsure what to do with my life right now though, I regret reading it so quickly, but it was just impossible to put down.
I rate this book 10/10, it couldn't have been better.
